The ski is on the ground. You can see it at 1:07. Cameraman tries to cover it with his hand, but fails. The ski in the window is a different one, maybe it's just added in After Effects. Supposed trajectory of the ski also doesn't make sense, let alone the force required to pierce the glass in such a neat fashion. Also, none of the people react to the loud crash sound, which suggests that it was added later.
