Hlas Davida Attenborougha: Here we witness a rare sight. The female woodcat in her nest is being watched by three males, ready to mate. She will copulate with each of them, after they bring her food. The fathers then go their way, never to see their offspring. Once the baby woodcats hatch from the corpse of their dead mother, they will remain in the treetop for two months, feeding on the remains of her mother, before going their way.
